Here is Satpol PP Action During PPKM Darurat

Jakarta Satpol PP Head, Arifin has noted that as many as 19,082 violators have been netted for not wearing masks amid emergency public activity restrictions (PPKM Darurat) on July 3 to 14. They are subject to social work and administrative fine sanctions.

"This sanction is given as a deterrent effect. Wearing a mask is important for the safety of ourselves and others from Covid-19," he expressed, Friday (7/16).

In similar action, he added, it was also given to 768 restaurants, 179 offices and 605 other business places. Most of them exceeded operating hours, failed to enforce health protocols and did not include sectors that were excluded from operating.

"The sanctions we give are in the form of dissolution, written warning, temporary closure of a maximum of 3x24 hours and a fine. We have managed to collect around Rp 94 million," he explained.

Due to still high case, the action was continuously intensified in order to improve awareness, responsibility, and collective contribution in the community.

"Surely, we'll intensify twice as much as before to prevent violations from occurring," he asserted.

He urged all parties to participate and be responsible for disciplining all good people from ourselves, including business actors to their employees.

"So, let's save ourselves, our families and brothers and society. Thus we can overcome the pandemic faster," he stated.
